Political activism and the influence of street art :
You cannot undervalue street art's role in political activism. Street art, whether it be a piece of graffiti or a painting, is a way to express your opinions without having to speak them aloud. It can be utilized to communicate your ideas to others in an approachable manner. Using street art, which would not otherwise be noticed by the general public, is another way to raise awareness of important issues like immigration reform and climate change. Artists can effectively bring attention to these important issues by displaying these works on city streets all over the world.

Shepherd Fairy and Rotemi Agbaje Ayeka Obi, who is the son of Shepherd Fairy, Damien Hirst, Tyler Mitchell, aka Maine, and Stephanie Keenan, aka MearOne, are some other well-known street performers.
Artists built "The Wall" on the US-Mexico border in 2017, following Donald Trump's election as president. Hundreds of pairs of shoes, one brown and one white were strung along the wall as part of the installation. Each shoe stands in for an individual killed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers. The installation represented a bid to increase public awareness of the number of deaths brought on by ICE agents and to demonstrate the solidarity of those who are opposed to ICE's conduct. Additionally, it stands for the expectation that this new administration will usher in change.
